Job Responsibilities:

Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end.

Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.

Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems.

Work with engineers across the company to build new features at scale.

Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design.

Other duties, as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

3-5 years of experience in software development utilizing .NET Framework, .NET Standard, .NET Core and 3+ years’ experience working in payments related technology.

Experience with Visual Basic and C#

Experience working with legacy .NET Web Forms as well as modern .NET Web API

Solid understanding of API design, particularly principles of REST in highly scalable environments. Strong command over common data structures and design patterns

Strong SQL skills: PostgreSQL and specifically Microsoft SQL Server, including pros/cons of various approaches to access, and ability to recognize and address potential performance issues.

Experience with Git and GitFlow.

Experience with AWS service integrations.
