Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Apple Device Management Engineer with Jamf 300 or 400 certification to lead and support enterprise-wide deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Apple macOS and iOS devices. This role will focus on designing scalable solutions for Apple ecosystem integration, automation, security compliance, and end-user experience optimization.

Key Responsibilities:                          

Lead the deployment, configuration, and support of Apple devices across the enterprise using Jamf Pro.

Architect and manage zero-touch provisioning using Apple Business Manager and MDM technologies.

Develop and maintain configuration profiles, scripts, policies, and smart groups within Jamf.

Ensure security compliance through endpoint hardening, encryption enforcement, and policy automation.

Integrate Jamf Pro with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, SSO, SIEM, and asset management tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex macOS and iOS issues across multiple departments.

Collaborate with security, network, and desktop support teams to align Apple deployments with organizational standards.

Monitor device health, patch compliance, and manage macOS/iOS upgrades at scale.

Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.

Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and technical runbooks.

Required Qualifications:

Jamf 300 (Jamf Certified Admin) or Jamf 400 (Jamf Certified Expert) certification.

5+ years of experience in Apple macOS/iOS administration in enterprise environments.

Deep knowledge of Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, DEP, VPP, and MDM principles.

Proficiency in Bash, Zsh, or Python scripting for automation.

Experience with identity and access management systems (e.g., Azure AD, Okta).

Familiarity with macOS security frameworks, FileVault, CIS benchmarks, and compliance standards.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with API integrations and custom Jamf workflows.

Knowledge of Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or hybrid MDM environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools or DevOps pipelines in the context of endpoint management.

Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or ACMT is a plus.
